Meson Lantero - Reservar una mesa

Relying on TripAdvisors rating, my location, and veggie friendly, we decided to dine at El Lantero. The menu was disappointing my “veggie-daughter” since it did not show a single veggie dish. The courteous waiter offered to leave out the fish or meat of certain dishes and make them veggie-like. Not to the enthusiasm of my daughter. The gamberoni from Sanlucar de Barrameda were really good, though our taste a bit too salty. The albondigas con almendras was canteen-like and not restaurant-worthy. The dorada was okay ... Would I recommend the place? NO. It was the second time in my holiday in Spain since 10 years, I felt I overpaid for what I got served. Comment to TripAdvisor: double check veggie friendly options from the websites menus...

This was a fairly standard Spanish restaurant. That doesn't mean that the food wasn't good quality, the service pleasant and the wine plentiful, but it didn't stand out. The location is convenient for the centre, but lacks views. When we visited, which admittedly was a quietish time of year, there were few other diners and it really lacked atmosphere no music or any other distractions. I'm rating it 4 stars rather than 3 as I think 3 would be a bit harsh, but I think there are more interesting and stimulating places in Sanlucar.

Simply: best tuna I have ever eaten in my life. Also increible Sanlucar shrimps and octopus. Excellent service that kindly do recommendations related to gluten. Gluten free beer. 100 m away from the most touristic place, so you only pay for food not location. Please do go there.

This is a lovely restaurant , with amazing food, including fresh fish, which is beautiful. The staff are very attentive, and you can either sit outside, or in the comfortable air conditioned interior.

Tapas were very good Sherry was very good Service was very good from attentive staff. Recommend this restaurant
