Methi Indian And Nepalese Cuisine is known for very poor food quality, unfriendly staff, and terrible customer service. I placed a large order for my birthday to serve my guests, including chicken momo, lamb sekuwa, chicken choila, chicken curry, goat curry, and samosa chaat. Unfortunately, most of the chicken pieces in the chicken choila were raw and had a foul smell. Not wanting to risk food poisoning, I had to discard it. The chicken momo was extremely dry and was served without achar sauce, making it practically inedible, and I had to throw it away as well.
Worst customer service ever. I asked the gentleman at the counter what is the fastest thing they had because I had a meeting. Butter chicken. Great. There was noone in the dirty and disorganized restaurant, so I thought it would take a few minutes. They looked closed with dusty plastic covering counters. Ordered Butter chicken today, found myself displeased with the way it was undercooked. I called the restaurant to sort it out in a private matter but was met with denial and excuses instead of compromise. This is my first ever bad review anywhere and the only reason I?m writing it is because of the way I was responded to.
We have loved everything we have had so far! The chicken wrap is a new favorite and we always get the palaak paneer. The samosas are a little spicy. The naan is delightful! I had the tandoori chicken for the first time today and it was juicy and flavorful. So glad this place is in Wheaton!

I found the serving size of Butter Chicken to be lacking, especially for the price. The Chicken Biryani was a bit dry and also lacked enough chicken. While the portions were decent, I didn't feel like I got good value for what I paid. Surprisingly, the fries were really good though!
At Methi Indian And Nepalese Cuisine, the taste was barely satisfactory. The tandoori chicken was a bit too salty for my preference. Although the restaurant didn’t appear very clean, I didn’t experience any stomach issues. The menu offers a variety of options worth exploring.
ordered 1 item and received a complete different item. also the quality was so bad that no one could eat it We ordered goat biriyani through uber eats and received plain rice and a curry. I have already shared picture to uber eats
I really enjoy their Spicy Chicken Vindaloo, but I find that the Butter Chicken sauce, while tasty, is not the top choice in Bethesda.

The palak paneer was one of the best Ive had outside of London. The spices and texture were amazing!
If you enjoy chicken, the momos are a great choice! The garlic naan was aromatic and tender.
