Amazing authentic Mexican food. It's really hard to find good Mexican food in the Northridge area but this gem is thee spot. They specialize in Chilango food or Mexico City food. This is food that you might not have had before unless you're Mexican and around Mexico City. So it's a great spot if you wanna try something new. My husband got the gorditas. Comes with chicharrón, cheese and cream. Mind you, they are made to order from fresh masa and then deep fried so they do take about 15-20 min to make. As soon as I laid eyes on this restaurant, I knew I had to give it a try. There aren't many places that serve Mexico City-style cuisine, and being raised in Mexico City, I have a good understanding of authentic flavors. I walked in without expecting much, but I couldn't resist ordering the Pambazo, a traditional dish from D.F. Oh my goodness, I was truly impressed! It was incredibly delicious. The Chicken Tinga and their rice were also outstanding. They clearly know how to cook the flavors of Mexico City. I'm in love with this place! I'll definitely be returning for more. I didn’t take any photos of the food this time, but I will definitely do so next time.

I was very disappointed this time. They usually make great gorditas here, but my last few visits have not been up to par. Typically, they're nice and crunchy, as if they've just been made. Given that you have to wait about 20 minutes for the handmade gorditas, it’s worth it. However, the last two times they've been soggy and oily—almost like they've been reheated in the microwave. I wouldn’t mind the wait if I were getting fresh gorditas.

Good tacos, had Al pastor and asada, and a sandia agua fresca. Salsa nice and hot. Big menu too seafood and meat and fruits.
