My friend and I dined at this restuarant on Wednesday 15/3. A busy evening as the Justin Beiber concert was on. The place looked vibrant and busy the menu small so we gave it a go. We sat outside at the sidewalk tables. We shouldn't have persisted and just left. We asked 3 times passing staff could they find someone to take our order. Then we waited while we were bypassed and 3 other tables who arrived after us were served before us. A tall lady replied to us "she's just runner tonight and left us there still waiting. We visited this bar/restaurant before attending an event at Qudos Bank Arena. Service was brisk. We booked for 5pm and was out by 6.20pm. Being a bar their drinks list is larger than the food menu.We drank margaritas and beers. We shared a dips share plate for entrees which was yummy and ample for 4 people (black bean, guacamole and roasted capsicum with warm tortillas, tortilla chips and house olive sour dough).Mains were beef nachos and soft pulled pork and chicken tacos.Costs $90 for food, $90 for drinks for four people.A great quick place for a meal before attending an event at Sydney Olympic Precinct.
Such an unexpected find in Sydney Olympic Park. Huge range of tequila but an even bigger range of whisky. They even have some whiskies that Baxter Inn doesn't have, and the prices are much more reasonable too.I tried the pulled pork Mexica burger and it was delicious, substantial and very good value. The mixed dip platter was also the perfect snack while enjoying a few drinks.Service was warm and engaging, Nick behind the bar really surprised me with his comprehensive knowledge of all things whisky and helped me select an amazing dram.Overall I really enjoyed my visit and I'll definitely return.
I have enjoyed some drinks with friend or with just myself and my partner on probably 4 or 5 occasions. It's a cocktail bar that serves bar food. The Mexican dishes, nachos', tacos, etc are all bar food quality rather than restaurant quality. I've never seen the place full or close to it. Maybe it's the location? Drinks, wise the cocktails are average. The margarita's while expensive have huge ping pong ball sized ice cubes in them and the strength and flavor is so so.

This place is out of the way but worth finding. We went here before a show at ANZ after being rudely turned away from another place nearby. Their loss and we found Mexica more friendly and welcoming. The decor is warm and welcoming and looks great! The food we had was good, mexica burger and chips
Visited for Friday after work drinks and was not disappointed. My Grande taco was delicious as was the modello negro beer. Service was friendly as usual and the vibe relaxed. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable visit.
Can not believe Nick says that it is way too hard to take bookings when there is a big night at Homebush even after I offered to pay for the meals for 6 people in advance. Definately will not be calling back.
Ate here because I really love soft tacos, theirs were ok, reasonably priced - I had a beef one and a pork one, which were fine. Nothing to rave about though. The service was friendly and really quick too.

little place on side street.was blown away by the food and cocktails live music playing outside excellent atmosphere excellent service will be back for sure
