My family has been frequenting Mezcal since it first opened, with me visiting often from Florida. For years, it was our go-to spot where we knew the staff by name and they knew us as well. However, in the past couple of years, there have been noticeable changes. Some menu items have been discontinued, the food quality has declined, and the drinks aren't as strong. I've been to this place three times. Neither one of the times was out of this world or stellar. However, the third time was a certainty that this establishment doesn't really care much about what it's doing and how it's doing it. And they don't care to improve it. I'm not certain if it's the staff or the people that patronize this establishment, but it's really bad. the service is bad, the way that they clean up is bad. The servers all standing around and looking at you and talking about you while they're standing there. Under the assumption that you don't speak a lick of Spanish, it's just bad. The restaurant offers delicious food in generous portions. The service is attentive and caters well to vegetarians. There is a variety of drinks available and the restaurant has a pleasant aesthetic. The staff noticed we were cramped at our table and offered us an extra chair and more chips. The food is tasty but on the pricey side. The Greek and Mexican fusion dishes, such as tortillas and sides, are particularly good. However, there could have been more vegetarian options. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere. I really enjoyed the food and will definitely be returning. The service was excellent. We had a sit-down brunch and the price per person was between $20 and $30. The food and service both received a rating of 5 out of 5, while the atmosphere was a 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Fajitas.

Simple and easy to evaluate. Food excellent and in a more than sufficient quantity. With leftovers we'll be eating Mexican food for the next two evenings. The service was prompt and efficient. Our waitress, Perla, was superb and the other staff was instantly at our table with salsa and chips. Definitely merits 5
Food was delicious as always. We got the spinach dip app and it was a bit spicy for me but my friend enjoyed it. We split the shrimp fajita and it was delish. This only comment is the service was rather slow this time which is unusual so not sure why.
Wednesday nite. Not busy at the bar. Empty dinner plates scattered over the bar. Oh well, sat down. After 10 minutes, NOTHING. No acknowledgement nothing. Left and amazed how they still stay in business.

Great frozen margaritas. Great shrimp tacos. Ample parking (always a plus in the Baltimore area).
My husband loves the food here. The decor is very colorful and inviting. Service is always fast.
