haven't been inside seating at mezza for a covid while! my husband had a hankering for their tortilla soup, so full of flavor and loaded with chicken worth the $12+ for a bowl. Prices on other items have increased, thought about oriental salad but at $17+ decided I wasn't that hungry. Know that covid has caused distress for many food service establishments and employees, and we will continue to eat at this delicious place. But, in my eyes I don't think of the interior as upscale and probably our threshold of prices is at its max.
Food was excellent as usual. I got the pecan crusted salmon, the fish portion is very generous and comes with a nice grilled vegetable assortment and delicious risotto. My husband ordered the beef shish kabob which he enjoyed with the exception of the saffron rice which he did not care for the seasonings. We finished with the bread pudding, which has a custard base. One of our favorites here. We will return again soon!
The chicken parmigiana was absolutely fantastic and the portion size was generous! It was more than enough to take home. I highly recommend this restaurant for a family dinner or a date night. One of the best meals I've had in Houston so far.
This restaurant was referred to us for a great meal and I have to say the FOOD was excellent. The service was great and the place clean and presentable. I since have taken other friends there with me and they agree the food is excellent

We had an excellent dining experience for our group of seven last week. While the drinks were a bit pricey, the food and service made it all worth it. Highly recommend the visit!
The pictures on the internet are misleading. It makes it look like fine dining. Good if you just want to get a bite. Not a place to take a date
The food was incredibly flavorful and fresh. The kitchen is open, allowing for a great view, and the staff was outstanding.
The food tastes as good as it looks, if not better. And our server Alex was excellent! Would definitely come back

Small place we found off the beat path. Overall great service food! Attentive helpful staff. Highly recommended!
Server was amazing he deserves a sort of raise. He was ready to go and the food was very good.
