Boudin balls were great. 2-4-1 **** Marys were weak but well spiced. Sensation salad was a bit oily from what I've had other places but good taste. Angle Hair Seafood Pasta was a little bland but liberal salting woke it up. LOTS of shrimp and crawfish tails in it, though. The server was young and a bit inexperienced but attentive. The manager checked in on us 3 times. Overall, a pleasant experience but nothing that's going to get me running to that side of the river for again. If I'm in the neighborhood, sure.

Had an excellent experience here yesterday with my family the food and service was excellent. All we had was delicious and the view was amazing. I usually try to get out of here a few times a year. I had the shrimp and corn soup that was excellent, and we all had the catfish lunch special. The fish was very well seasoned and cooked for perfection and the stuffed potato was also a beautiful supplement.

Kyla was a great server. Had Wel's stripe appetizer, it was delicious. Have the grilled shrimp salad with homemade Ranch Dressing, very good. My husband has the sensational salad with grilled chicken. From this world. Had a marinated artichoke heart in it was great. The view of the desk outside was fantastic in May.

I liked Satterfields. Downtown New Roads. On the river. Beautiful surroundings. Nice atmosphere. And I think the food is good enough. Good place for a date night outside.

Food was veery good today. We've been eating here for a few years and there has been a great improvement.
