Mezza Notte Tratoria

We were on our way home from a busy Sunday, and we stopped In at Mezza Notte for dinner. The restaurant wasn't too busy and we were seated promptly. Our server was tied up, but another server took our order for drinks and food. <br/ <br/ We started by sharing a Caesar Salad. Flavour was there, but I found the dressing just a touch too dry. <br/ <br/ SWMBO chose Pollo Parmigiana. A generous portion of breaded chicken arrived, topped with cheese and sauce, as well as penne and sauce. I really liked the Ceasar salad, thought it was bright and fresh tasting and the large portion was a generous size. The pizza and pastas were good, but I felt like the quality of the meat in for example the lamb in the Pappardelle pasta could have been more tender than it was. Pizza was very tasty and they have a current upsize promo going on where you pay for a certain size and get the next size up. Everything about it was good but the centre of it was a bit soft making it messy to eat which isn't the end of the world. It was hard to truly judge the calamari properly because we had it for take out and it was a bit soggy after the drive, but it was tasty even though it didn't taste as fresh...

Wow everything here was prepared very well with nice portions for everyone. We were a party of 5 and it was perfect with only a little remaining for take home. Salmon cooked well Beef was nice Pizza was surprisingly very good as I’m not too adventurous with pizza (picture a four cheese pizza as my favorite) Muscle and squid all well cooked to perfection Thanks so much for a delicious evening

I really enjoyed it! Despite the restaurant being busy, we were seated promptly without any wait. The waiter wasn't the friendliest, but she checked on us frequently to make sure we were okay. I ordered the caprichosa pizza and it was delicious! The wine was also good. The ambiance was very nice and the restaurant had a chic atmosphere. Beyond expectations. This Resturant is amazing!!! The atmosphere is warming and eclectic, the customer service is exceptional and the food is AMAZING!!!!! I would recommend this Resturant to anyone and everyone!!! Enjoyed the fried calamari, chicken and vegetables. They also make an amazing pizza with toppings of your choice!!! This is now a Friday night fav hot spot!!!!

Very good food. Tried many items on the menu and everything was delicious. My personal favorite dish is the veal medallions in wine sauce with veg of the day. Staff are polite, friendly and very accommodating. The atmosphere is great and the design is beautiful. If you have not been, give it a try you will not be disappointed.

I recently celebrated my grandfather's 80th birthday at this restaurant with a party of 12, and we were extremely well taken care of. Our server, Patrick, was exceptional, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was both delicious and served quickly. Kudos to the chef! We couldn't have been happier with how the evening went.

The orecchiette paired with sausage and spinach was flawlessly balanced in flavor with each bite - a delightful combination of chewy, crunchy, and salty. It was delicious. The portion size was also generous.
