I have been to several all u can eat sushi places and found that prices are fairly consistent but quality can vary...a lot. From the great to terrible Lindsay, pembroke) but most are somewhere in between. Shogi to me lies smack dab in the...middle or just shy. My roll was quite good, shrimp tempura quite good as well. Howe’s like sushi and sashimi. I’m not saying they cut the fish with an exact knife but many cold cuts are not much thinner than the sashimi here. Miso soup barely warm. I have eaten here many times and had a pleasant experience- good food, fair prices and good service. Tonight I went in with my husband and our server was clearly sick. In this case I believe it is better to stay home but if proper...precautions are taken (washing hands and avoiding food handling) then it can be managed. This was not the case. My husband informed me that on his way back from the washroom he witnessed our server cough directly into her hands, then proceed to pick up and deliver two teas to another table. craving post covid everything they can eat sushi. this place was not disappointed. friendly staff according to all covid security protocols. we went to lunch, but they only offered the dinner menu. that was in order as our plan went into us. sashimi also, the price was reasonable. there are more expensive AYCE restaurants I've been to. with limited COVID seats, the restaurant cannot be responsible for this approach. it is time for them to make some after the fight for so long. roll were not broken into rice, only a beautiful amount. the whole food was fresh and delicious. sashimi was cut thin, so order more than normal. if they are in the opposite (vaughan mills/canadadas wonderland) and loo...

were were fooled by the reviews, I guess from people who dont know what a decent restaurant should be like. I should have turned around just from seeing the exterior facade. the waitress will just drop or slide your food on the table, no welcome...smile no interaction, poor English and poor good. the restaurant doesn 't play any music so you can hear everybody 's conversation. the mirrors are cleaned with dirty rags, the floor is dirty and the whatever they call decoration is horrible. my son ordered veggie fried rice and he got oily rice with 3 pieces of Broccoli, seriously! the food presentation is poor and the tice is hard and obviously leftover. I've never been to anything you can eat sushi place, where the personal showed care. the food was presented in a beautiful plating style. Apart from the presentation, I could go on over the taste for hours, I don't think I ever had such...hammy sushi before. they could taste the fresh and the only thing I could think was how much chic they really put in the production of the food. the staff was extremely polite and told me until the suppe cools down. I am so impressed by this restaurant and will often return.

The food was great. Service was fast and everything was done right. We got there a little earlier than we planned and the place was packed. We were not greeted warmly but like we were a pain in the butt. So we left and returned...when it was slightly less busy. The food was worth the wait and although the first impressions were not that good, it was overall a pleasant experience. The place is small so reservations should be considered.

this hidden gem has the best all you can eat sushi I've ever had. exceptional selection that are creatiw and well presented, and incredible service make this place also highlight from the best a la carte sushi. the personal really cares about the experience of the customer. I recommend the hawaii, volcano, rainbow and at the time of this review: the softest and tenderest snapper I've ever had.

We looked at Trip Advisor for a sushi restaurant in the area and selected Shogi as it had fairly high reviews. Did not disappoint. Service was very good, prices for all-you-can-eat were reasonable $23 adults/$14 under 10 yrs/$10 under 6), food was good. Everything that...we ordered came quickly and well prepared.

Value for money can’t be beat. Good selection for lunch menu at $14.99. Highly recommend for a quick tasty lunch
