The food was underwhelming; the rice was stale and cold, the yucca was also cold, and the chicken had an unpleasant smell, leading me to believe it was old and heavily seasoned to mask the odor. The empanadas were overly greasy and lacked the proper amount of chicken filling.
I remember when this place first opened and they took pride in serving genuinely great, authentic food. Now, most dishes come with French fries—which is just gross. They’re not even homemade; they taste like the kind of frozen fries you'd find at Walmart. Moreover, the prices have doubled since then.
It’s really unfortunate because I won’t be returning. And just to add, I’m Colombian and expected much better.
Our favorite Colombian restaurant! The service is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the food is absolutely amazing. Whether you visit for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you're guaranteed to leave satisfied! Every time we visit St. Petersburg, it's a must for us to stop by and grab some pandebonos and almojabanas to take home and enjoy for breakfast. We absolutely love this place!
If you're local to St. Pete, *at least* bookmark this Columbian spot. I'm not only a big fan of grabbing carry-out but also stockpiling some corn arepas from the bakery. Vegetarians, you may notice that the menu is meat-heavy. Know that the staff will work with you in making sure you're well-fed.
I had been eager to try this restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised when I finally did. I'm a fan of Latin cuisine, and I really enjoyed their breakfast. The menu is intriguing, and I plan to come back for lunch and dinner on my next visits.
