My first time placing an order sorry will not again! This food is too expensive for what we received, and we never had the option to choose sides or anything, the Pollo guisado was really small, 2 pieces only what is that? the Bistec in sauce was also small, Tostones were soggy no flavor, the only thing that was alright was the Empanada de Carne, I have placed orders from other spanish cuisines and never was this way. I dont recommend! Waste of money and time!
Quick service, but the quality was terrible. We were really hungry since we hadn’t eaten since breakfast, yet we ended up leaving half of the empanadas untouched because they didn’t taste good at all! The guava and cheese empanadas were filled with an unpleasant artificial sauce. To make matters worse, one of them was broken upon arrival, spilling sauce all over the bags. I wouldn't recommend this place—better to order from somewhere else.
I recently relocated from South Jersey and was eager to discover some fantastic Spanish cuisine—and I definitely found it! Sancocho has become my go-to spot when the weather gets chilly, and it was absolutely delicious! The carne guisada was equally amazing. This place is now my favorite! I would have shared a photo of my meal, but it smelled so incredible when it arrived that I couldn't resist digging in right away, haha!
We had a wonderful experience at Mi Islita while celebrating my grandmother's birthday. The food was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. With our large group, the staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. The piña coladas and appetizers were scrumptious! Is owned by Dominicans, so not Puerto Rican cuisine but well seasoned and cooked perfectly either way. An eclectic taste of the past owners, you’ll still find traces of Cuban, Puerto Rican even Colombian influences in some of the fares. Massive portions at extremely fair prices, impressive quality as well.
Really bad! I ordered chicharron de pollo and this was basically soggy breaded chicken like KFC from WISH--not crispy at all....the meat inside the alcapurria was red...the tostones were old/soggy chewy...the avocado salad lets just say the salad from the already prepped packages are better...never again
I order from here A LOT for work and the food is always 10/10.Its arrives fresh with perfect portions. I use uber eats for delivery and they always follow the additional request perfectly. They also have good prices for food portions. I would rate higher if I could.

Small quaint and excellent food. Has a lot of variety. Their take out combos are amazing and fits any budget. A mix of Cuban, Puerto Rican and Dominican cuisine. A must try!
