Food cooked in front of you with the chef setting the grill aflame, demonstrating his cooking skills, while entertaining you as part of the cooking process. Small plates like the popcorn shrimp and vegetable gyoza were pretty average, but the mains were good. All our main proteins (ie. salmon, chicken, scallops and beef) were fresh and cooked beautifully. Also had the 1/2 lobster that was enjoyable Overall, a good teppanyaki experience, but don't think it quite justify the price we were paying. We weren't blown away with either the food or entertainment, and left still feeling a little hungry, though it was a pleasant night out.
Terrible experience. Booked a table on Tues but had to wait 15mins to be seated and were seated with customers who have already started. No one took our orders until we signalled them. We had to wait for the people on the same table to finish before the chef started cooking ours. The waitress forgot to set up our plates and the chef had to personally stepped out to get them. They also forgot our rice and soup. Had to remind them 4 times to get our beer. Ridiculous service for the price we paid and it was for a birthday celebration. No more coming back again. Food was just average.
left feeling quite disappointed after eating in midori. we sat fast and our commanded. the food came out quickly, which was good, as we are already fast eater anyway. what I found disappointing was the limited amount of food served. the salat was literally a garnish followed by 4 small pieces popcorn huhn and only 2 garne. as a result we left the feeling very hungry. for the price I would expect a larger part or at least an additional court.

it was a nicely cooked delicate steak that got this place an additional point. I had the Teppanyaki menu with a group. the steamed rice was served directly at the beginning of the meal, so when it was good to eat it witg the main meal it was stone cold. the other half of the group that ordered the garlic rice, an extra $10 got their rice at the end of the meal, long after the main thing had been eaten. the garnels were also cooked over.
Service and staff are friendly. Chef cooks in front of you and serve a group of 8 people. While chef was cooking, she will do some tricks. It is very different from other restaurants. It is a different experience if you have not tried before. Food is nice.
very smokey. alin our cook was expert. we had the salmon, bark and garlic rice. mango daiquiri and tokyo eistee cocktails. yum yum. the food was smokin. we played eggs that were tortured by alin. she also trembled salt shakers.
I'm writing this review to express our disappointment with this venue. I wouldn't waste your money here as there are far better dining experiences in Perth...
