Mijouri Sushi Bune

This place used to be one of my go to sushi places in the area. However their service and food have gone downhill real fast. We were only ones eating in the restaurant yesterday and despite this, all the staff were standing around chatting about nothing in particular. One waiter and about 3 other people including the food prep guy are doing nothing but chatting. We had to flag down our waiter multiple times for basic requests, i.e. ready to order, more wasabi, and most importantly our hot sake tasted horrible with a bitter weird funky taste. The last time I reviewed this restaurant was about a year ago. Since then I have kept coming back to try their rolls, and specifically, I always order the 28 pieces of sashimi! For the price in the Bay Area, you really can't beat it. I don't know how many times I've ordered their sashimi but it is always fresh, tasty, and extremely consistent in quality. Keep in mind, this isn't a fancy, expensive Japanese restaurant. But if you're like me and want fresh sashimi for an affordable price, this is my go-to spot! originally we came here for the sushi boats but they are not running. but im glad we stopped by anyways. everything about this place was amazing. the food was fairly priced based on portions and quality. our waiter has very attentive and polite considering how needy our table was. another plus is how easy parking was to find. thank you again !

This is our go to place for comfort food sushi, with lots of delicious special roll and cooked roll options. Love the unlimited refills on hot tea as well
