Mike's York Street Bar and Grill

Don’t know if they are short-staffed, or if they need better training. We were immediately seated and a drink order was taken. We then waited 25 minutes for a beer and the “drink of the day”. We submitted an order for an appetizer and it arrived timely. We ordered our dinners which also arrived timely but we needed refills on beverages. My husband had to get the server’s attention and asked if we could have water while we wait for our refills. Good thinking on his part because the refills took another 20 minutes. The food was just okay. Really hope they can improve on food and service.

I don't think my server ever even told us her name. The food came out fast and was edible..but everything else was so slow. We didn't get greeted for over 5 minutes, she walked by us plenty of times before that. Tables around us also in her section were talking to each other about how they had to ask for drinks multiple times to actually get them. It was not busy so there was no reason for service to have been that bad. I'm moving to the area and wanted to try some new spots. Safe to say, I will never be back here.

Great as always! Used to come here all the time! Havent been here in over 7 yrs. Came in again for lunch and still amazing!!! Steak bites and fries still the best!!! My aunts had salads and were huge! They liked them very much. Waitress was very nice as well. Only thing we would say is replace crab cakes. They have never been great. Love everything else though!!

DJ is good just needs to make adjustments to allow people to be able to talk to each other at the tables without having to scream , and to adjust music to the crowd older people want older music , younger crowds want younger music Or a good mix, and last but not least as the people thin out adjust the music lower , just my opinion,,, Reserva una mesa ahora

It was so loud that I could not even hear people at my same table. It felt like I was eating in a high school cafeteria. We were seated at a table in the room with a bar. I would have preferred the dining room. Our waitress was very good and the food was also good though.

I easily booked a table online and it was ready on time. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was well-prepared. I will definitely be returning frequently.

The menu at Mike's offers excellent dishes. We have never had a disappointing meal or experience there.
