I'm writing this review because I want Mikomi to succeed. There aren't many good sushi spots in the area and I feel like they are so close to being a better than average sushi spot. Firstly, we were seated quickly. But seated next to the bar where they were washing the floor. With an industrial cleaning agent that smelled like ammonia. Needless to say it did not improve our appetite. We moved tables on our own cuz the smell was giving us a headache. Perhaps wait til your customers are not in the vicinity to do commercial cleaning? Or at least sit us somewhere else The food is what you can expect from a local sushi spot. They aren't winning culinary awards here. But the key is the freshness o...

December 2021 Party of 2 on a Thursday around 430pm. No wait! Food/Pricing I recommend going during happy hour! I believe it's everyday from 230 530pm. They upped the prices for it recently and changed the menu a little bit which made me sad but still worth it!! We went during happy hour and got: Aloha Roll $11.50) Cajun Seared Ahi Tuna Roll $11.50) Washington Roll $10.95) Tiger Roll $11.50) Everything was yum but the rolls that had spicy tuna were a bit soggy. They were a bit difficult to oick up in one piece and fell apart easily. The Tiger Roll was good too but it has shrimp instead of fish on top, which I could go without ordering next time. Service/Ambiance Service is typically attentiv...

My cousin and I stopped here on a whim. We were on our way to Sushi Nakata but found their doors closed that day, luckily Mikomi Sushi was a few businesses down. The restaurant is very modern and clean. The staff members were friendly but could have been more attentive. We ordered 3 lunch combinations (Roll Sushi 4 pc Sashimi) which to our surprise were very filling (we could have ordered 2 and have been full). The salad with ginger dressing was delicious. The rolls we had chosen included: Washington Roll, Aloha and Crunch Roll. I would say my favorite was the Washington Roll, but I am partial to tuna so it may just be my bias. Each of the 4 pieces of sashimi had thick cuts of fish. One thin...

Ordered a good amount of food it was good!! I am usually not the biggest fan of albacore, however the albacore was so soft and it practically melts in your mouth. The ultimate salmon roll was delicious as well, but def needed some citrus! I've never had anything like the 8 wishes roll, but the blue crab had a slight sweetness and paired well with the tuna on the inside. As always I have to get the salmon egg sushi, which was delicious as well. I would come back to try some of the other items on the menu. Our server was nice, and I did appreciate that there was both indoor and outdoor seating. Weather was nice enough to be outside, so we chose to sit out! Overall a good place to go, although...

What I love is their wide variety of rolls. They have the standard rolls (Crunch roll, Tiger roll, etc. plus Chef Special Rolls that come with wacky names like the Homeless Roll and the Hay Mamacita! They also offer baked rolls which cater to those with a raw fish aversion.

The restaurant itself was very elegant. Vaulted ceilings with unique hanging lights. We ordered the ramen combos and we were very pleased with their tonkotsu and miso ramens. Will come back again to try their sushi and other rolls.

Ease of getting a table at 7pm on a Thursday night was great. Service was pretty good. Interior is clean and spacious. Sushi quality was better than I expected! Even for the basic Philly and yellowtail roll.

Good chirashi and great rolls. We came here in Saturday afternoon around 3pm, and there were no line. People started to wait in line when we finished our meal and left around 5.

This is a nice large open space with plenty of natural light and outdoor patio seating. They also have a great happy hour and deep menu selection.
