Mikomi Sushi Monrovia

Newly open Sushi restaurant in Old Town Monrovia, at the former location of T.Phillips This place was very classy and upscale, with a great open layout and decor. The staff was very friendly and the food was very good. Average price for rolls was around$16. They have a nice bar, high tables or standard and an outdoor section. Will definitely return to try some of the otherrolls. I tried the Lemon Cilantro roll, Las Vegas roll and one other. My son had the Ramen and he enjoyed it.

Stopped by for dinner last night, didn't have to wait for a table. Friendly and attentive servers. Appetizers and sushi were all delicious! Crouching Tiger Hidden Albacore roll and Cajun Seared Ahi Tuna roll are my favorites. Also the Baked Mussels aredelicious! This was my second time here, will definitely return again. There are no physical menus, you scan a QR code on yourphone and the menu pops up.

The Bento Box for Lunch was huge! Be prepared with an appetite! Sushi roll was good but not amazing...got the spicy tuna roll with the box and it's was bland. But the rest of food was great! Service was really good and attentive but not in your face or anything. I would definitely go back!

Good chirashi and great rolls. We came here in Saturday afternoon around 3pm, and there were no line. People started to wait in line when we finished our meal and left around 5. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great food everything I go. Usually quick and affordable compared to everything else near LA! People should definitely try their bento boxes and sashimi and sushi combos

Sushi was good..fewer options if you didn't want sushi. Robot delivered one plate at a time and crowded the narrow aisle for servers carrying multiple dishes.

Their service is great. The only reason I gave them four Stars on the food is they did away with their ghost peper spicy tuna! Best spicy tuna ever!

Love,love this place. We try to visit at least once a week. Hate that they don't honor happy hour on holidays though.
