We came hungry and left very happy. (That 's the motto for some other place but it applies here. This was my friend 's first time trying Venezuelan food. She ordered an arepa with caprese cheese and a mamey shake. I ordered a fish bowl with plantains and a cachapa con queso y frijoles. Never in my life has a pancake tasted so good. It was so savory and the cheese especially is delicious. My friend agreed that their beans are seasoned very well. All their food is very flavorful. What I especially loved was the customer service. When the waitress first came over, she said Even if this is your first time trying Venezuelan food, you 've already tried pretty much everything on the menu. She then...

I've never tried Venezuelan food before but this place was great! Heard about them through social media and loved the food here. I had a mamey smoothie and a pabellon cachapa. The food was very different from anything I've eaten before but very delicious. The corn was a little sweet but not super sweet and the meet was very savory and the cheese was perfect. They give you two verythick salsas which are also delicious, but be warned the hot option is VERY hot. Overall a great place to eat that I will returnto. Also want to thank the staff, they were so friendly and kind.

Best cachapas, the cornmeal flat bread was perfectly done, a very comforting and familiar flavor, and I'm not normally a fan of cornmeal anything. The sauces were also well done with no separation and great balance to the flavor. The ingredients werewell chosen and flavorful. Only the beef was a little tough. I'm sure if I'd ordered the shrimp or chicken option they wouldhave gotten all 5 stars in this review. I will go back some day, despite the distance from home, and i may update this reviewthen. They are really very proud of having provided for for baseball games. Reserva una mesa ahora

Amazing little taste of Venezuelan cuisine in the heart of Downtown Santa Ana, CA. Authentic Venezuelan food. Hard to find that. Got the pabellón Cachapa (sweet corn pancake w/ beans, shredded beef, and cheese), the pastelitos de carne (beef filledpastry), and passion fruit juice. Everything was good, my favorite was the pastelitos. Passion fruit was too sweet for me butI'm not into sweets in general. I see myself frequenting this place whenever I feel like having Venezuelan food. Food9.5/10 Service 9/10 Ambiance 8/10 Price 8.5/10 Overall 9/10 would recommend.

Mil Jugos is a stunning and authentic restaurant right in downtown Santa Ana—a true hidden gem. From the very first bite of their tostones, you'll be hooked; the arepas are absolutely delicious with every bite. Every dish is made with care and passion. The owners are warm and humble, making this a must-visit spot for anyone seeking genuine Venezuelan flavors. It’s an experience you won’t forget.

The staff at Mil Jugos are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. If you ask, they can help you explore a range of intriguing Venezuelan dishes. You'll probably discover some that you truly enjoy, while others may not align with your preferences. It's definitely worth a visit to experience this national cuisine that is relatively rare in the USA.

Pabellón Arepa: The shredded beef is wonderfully juicy, paired perfectly with rich black beans and a mildly tangy cotija cheese. I loved every bite. The cornbread is dense and very filling. The Guasacaca, a dark green sauce, has a great spicy kick with lime undertones, while the Picante, a lighter green sauce, reminds me of chimichurri. Reserva una mesa ahora

Absolutely an amazing experience. It was my birthday and my first time trying Venezuelan food. I gained a deeper appreciation for my culture and can't wait to return.
