1st off the service was amazing! We had an awesome lady taking care of us. I am a huge foodie! I wasn't expecting too much in a small town like this, but it was actually pretty good. The best part were the appetizers, you could tell they were fresh and the calamari is probably some of the best I've ever had including overseas. So having that appetizer had me really stoked for the entrée... Then it died. I had the sausage with the marinara and pasta. The sausage was dry, the pasta obviously was not homemade... Which can be fine if everything else is on point... But it just wasn't. I make better marinara sauce at home with Italian tomatoes. I would definitely go back for appetizers though, no...

The food tasted amazing, but I found a small piece of hard, white plastic in my pasta dish. To their credit, they replaced my dish immediately and the replacement was fine. However, my stepmother just found another piece of plastic in her leftovers (mashed potatoes) upon re-warming the next day. Since this was found in two totally separate dishes, it leads me to believe there was a pretty wide contamination issue that probably should have been prevented or caught prior to leaving the kitchen. As good as the food tasted (and this place rivaled my favorite Italian place ever), we will likely not be returning for food safety reasons.

Although a bus boy gave us water, we waited 10 mins for a waitress to take our order. When she did, we ordered the portabella sticks (tasty, good amt dip was yum) for an app. My son ordered the ravioli, it was undercooked. I got the lasagna. It did not have ricotta. It was okay, not great. The sauce was a nice gravy. Our dinners came with house salads we asked for ceasar dressing, which was delicious. For dessert, he got the carrot cake, which he liked I got the tiramisu, which I enjoyed.

My fav in town! The food is amazing! Would have given 5 stars, however a FEW of the bartenders are just not the friendliest. I don't think I've gotten a hello from them once! The owner is always kind and walking around helping/greeting everyone. Highly recommend!

The food was absolutely amazing. Great job cooks. A Fabulous atmosphere. Friendly staff. All around a fantastic experience. A piece of Lima Ohio's history, my ancestors history.
