Don't sleep on this spot! This place won't catch your eye when driving past it, despite the fact that it doesn't look special it is still a fantastic spot for sushi. I first ventured here in the early 2000s and used to be a regular, but life happened and I was taken away by my career. Everytime I come home a make it a point to stop by! There is a reason they have been in business for so long. Through my many visits I have never had an issue with the servic the team is friendly, funny, and quick. Restaurant seems popular. We ordered one of the nigiri dinners for 2. We like most kinds of sushi as long as it’s fresh. The fish was fresh. However, it’s important to cut sushi fish correctly and eliminate the skin. Many of the pieces we were served were chewy and wouldn’t break apart. My husband nearly choked. I mentioned it to the server and showed her the tough pieces. She said she’d tell the kitchen. But no one seemed surprised or apologized, so this may be par for the course. Lots of families with small children here. This carelessness could lead to a tragedy.
I have been going here for 2 decades. Recently they have been slipping forgetting items on take out, smaller portions and at one point called in order specifying egg allergy 3 times. I go in to pick up and they had forgotten to put in my order. Waited for over 20 minutes again specifying egg allergy 2 more times. I get home and open my order, there was egg! I called and no one had an answer and I was just out 21 dollars plus I had left a tip. What a joke this place has turned into. Shame on the owners. Do you have no pride in your work?

Went to get sushi for carry out at 8:30pm and told me that they couldn’t take my order because they close at 9 and kitchen is closed. They should the advertise they close at 8:30 to avoid disappointment and frustration. They don’t care for customer service.
Sashimi is great very good for pricing. Server is ok. It just they don’t even know what are they serving. We have a guy server and ask him which fish is what and he couldn’t tell us. They remodel the place and look nicer.
I had a course meal, but please improve the taste of the roe-bap and maeun-tang. Everything else was edible, but the roe-bab was tasteless and the maeun-tang was seriously bland.
Extremely pleasant staff, they alerted us of menu items thay may compromise my party's allergies immediately after ordering and offered great alternative options.

If you haven't tried it yet, Tempura Boat, then i highly recommend it. It's so yummy for those who love fried sushi !
