Minato Sushi Japanese Restaurant

Best Sushi in Halifax. Better than all the sushi I tried in Korea and Japan. Best sushi I have had, anywhere in the world. The dragon rolls made at Minato Sushi are THE BEST things I have ever eaten on this Earth! The dragon rolls I get have tempura sweet potato (or shrimp) inside a rice roll topped with avacado, covered in an amazing teriyaki sauce. My description may not do it justice... But this is the best thing I have ever had! There is no other food that I crave going back for anywhere more than this!There other Japanese and Korean food is also very good as well!

We took a short weekend trip to Halifax and our regular sushi place has closed. We were just walking around and came across this place, and are so happy to have done so! It is our new favorite in the city! Their portions are huge, service was quick and can't wait to return!

The place is unassuming from the outside. The inside is well-maintained and the food was very good. The service was excellent. I came here on a Monday night and there were not a lot of people. The prices were reasonable for the quality. I would come out here again

this place offers good quality sushi and not too expensive enjoyed every bite , been there 4-5 years ago and go back there every time im in town , well worth going there you won;t be disappointed Reserva una mesa ahora

Friendly service, excellent and interesting selection of dishes. They were also very clued up and geared up to cater to a gluten free diet: gluten free wasabi and soy sauce. Highly recommended!

There were six of us and we all had different preferences. I went for the fish and it was very good. There was a little mix-up over orders, which I attribute to language difficulties.

Went there by myself and I got to say, the hostess/waitress was really nice. Prices are very good but you get what you pay for. Sushis are mostly rice, not a lot of fish in there.
