Mines D'asphalte - Reserva de mesa

Former mine, the largest in Europe, now a tourist attraction. It is possible to visit the mines, at least part of them. To do with the family, the experience with helmets and flashlights is great. Be careful to dress well. The ham cooked in the asphalt is delicious, I recommend.

We visited the museum and the mine with two under-aged kids and we all loved it! Our guide was bilingual and definitely knew her subject. We haven't tasted the famous ham baked in a bath of asphalt, but apparently it is a must-to-do.
