Mings Kitchen - Reservar una mesa

Ok here we go again.Living in fort st john i guess you have to get used to restaurants closing very early.Had a craving for chinese food at 9 pm one evening,phoned 3 different places and they were closed.Ended up with Mings which was open tried to view there fuzzy menu on the computer,but could not read it of course.So decided to get the dinner for 5,thinking there would be a little of everything.WRONG.Food came fast,however there was no chow mien noodles in the dinner for 5 which is weird.The deep fried food was very heavily battered and for some reason we got a container of gravy???will not eat here ever again.

Sooooo much grease! I broke down and decided to have Chinese food from Ming's again. I didn't even finish it before I threw the container in the trash. The dry ribs were ok for the first couple, but very oily. The beef and broccoli was ok for the first couple of bites, but then it had a funny flavour. Almost fishy tasting. Then to top it off, I had the worst stomach ache an hour later. Guess it's my own fault, as I even wrote that on my takeout menu and warned myself not to order from there. Lessoned learned.

We usually order from Mings - the food is always the same and we do have a few favorites - my husband really likes their ginger beef and the dry garlic ribs. We find that the special fried rice and special chow mein are way better than the regular chicken or beef versions. Will continue to order takeout from them - we never go to the buffet or eat in house.

Pork chow mein, and chicken almond chop suey was completely flavourless. Ginger beef tasted bad. Sweet sour pork was decent.Friendly service, prompt delivery, ingredients seemed fresh.

I ordered mings for myself and my husband and was surprised at the amount of food you get for not to steep of a price. plus it was delicious! would definitely order again when in FSJ

Food is good but not at the top of my Asian food list will eat there again but not first choice. Place is dated and food is simple with simple flavour.

Food good. Service great. Decor grand. Portion size wonderful. Wonton soup is to die for. Love this place with all my heart. Mings... You complete me.

Prices went up. Smaller containers and portions. Not impressed with quality or taste the past 2 times we have ordered. Wont order from here anymore.
