I’ve been to the Mockingbird couple of times. To never return after the last experience. I went during the summer for my wedding anniversary and sat outside had a wonderful meal they didn’t have available 3 of my choices for a meal or appetizer besides that it still turned out to be a pleasant time with my husband and some very good drinks. We went back in December to sit at the bar and enjoy time with our friends. As we where greeted by the owner and host at the door. We sat at the bar for about 10-15 minutes without a single “Hello I’ll be right with you” I thought that was ridiculous. (Total of 2 other people sitting at the bar so no they were not busy and short staffed) We got up and lef...
Was here for a birthday party, staff friendly, efficient and helpful. We came when they opened (430) b4 to decorate honorary guest. Dinner Setup already done, bar person equal. We just had to put up our stuff. Very clean location,bathroom near entrance, very disabled?? accessible. There was also a wedding in the other half of the building and many parking spaces for both parties at the same time. Only the suggestion I would have is to put a direction chart on a tripod to wedding party/a different kind of party than that a little confusing for both groups of guests. Modern but tastefully decorated. Had a great time. Very recommended.
So apparently if you're going to an event in next doors function hall. But get there a little early you're allowed to sit at the bar but only have one drink at the restaurant. Mind you it's the same company. For the most part everyone was sort of rude and not welcoming. The waitres staff walked by me while I had my ONE drink and not one of them acknowledged my mother and I. Overall nice looking place but customer service is lacking big time. Looks like a place where no one enjoys working.
the night of the event began terrible, because of frank. he was so unprofessional and rude. we had a guest waiting in their cars. he didn't leave anyone. I mean, no one in, not even the dj to set up the equipment. I felt so bad for the hostess of the party they were so embarrassing. the personal was amazing in the facility. I also felt that the portion of the food was a little more thinking about the person. except that everything else went well.

My wife and I had Valentines Day dinner tonight at the Mockingbird Restaurant. Absolutely phenomenal!! We started w scallops in wrapped in bacon...delicious. I had the duck...as good as any duck I've ever had at Boston Restaurants. My wife had the filet...cooked to perfection... able to cut w a bread knife. We thoroughly enjoyed!
I was there for a wedding. Overall the floor was well maintained, the reception room was nice. But my only star is for food. It looked like a frozen food that they only sat in the microwave or in the oven. Children's flours were rubbery and a fly or bees dead) was found in someone's meal.
Great food and atmosphere. Owner would not accept an expired (by 3 months) $100 gift certificate. I get it, our fault for not using. Offering a free cocktail would of certainly been a nice gesture. Nope.
We had our daughters wedding rehearsal dinner there. Frank and his staff were excellent. Nothing but a professional. Food and service were great. Very recommended

Great food so savory! Drinks were great, atmosphere was nice and our waitress was very attentive.
Good service, good food, great drinks. We will be back!
