I went to Mishmish Cafe today. First of all, let me start with the name. There is no MISHMISH CAFE at this location. The name is changed. It's some kind of bakery with no mention of mishmash anywhere. While ordering food I have no table but during the ordering process, my wife found a table and we inform the girl that we got a table and make our order sit-in and not take out. Still a guy brought food in a takeout bag. I told him that we got the table and inform the girl that we got the table.So please serve it in instead of take out. The arrogant server frowned and took the food back muttering something under his breath. Then came back in a minute saying it's their policy they can't serve it...
The Chicken Shawarma Sandwich at this restaurant is simply amazing. In addition to the delicious Shawarma and Shakshuka, they also offer tasty yogurt and fruit salads. The pita bread is a must-try and they can customize any smoothie to your liking. The service is excellent and the management is efficient. It's a popular spot in Montclair, frequented by a variety of people including students. You can even sit outside with your dogs and enjoy a meal - I'm sure they will love it too.
A truly lovely amalgamation of a welcoming ambiance, great n quick service and absolutely delicious fresh Mediterranean food. Menu spans lots of options, and I'd recommend the shawarma bowl and schnitzel pita (fantastic! . Outdoor seating is available too. PS: they've changed their name to Marcel, so don't let that confuse you PS2: did I mention they play a serious pastry game here too?
Used to come to this place all the time when they had their location on Glenridge. Visited their new location off of Valley thinking same old Mish Mish. Oh how wrong I was. Self service, bland, and overpriced. 4 dollar spindrift cans. What an upsetting experience to see a restaurant you used to frequent every week become so very basic and underwhelming.

Love it love it love it. Glorious meddle eastern food with an Israeli owner chef ,,,,amazing tasting food,I enjoyed it amencely. I will be back
