The restaurant was very clean as usual. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. Now to the food that's what we're all really here for. Brisket, good not better than mine but good none the less. Wifey got the pulled chicken juicy not dry is alwaysgood. We got the collard greens. Didn't realize it came with tomatoes in the mix. Two ingredients you don't usually see togetherbut it worked!. The Mac and cheese was NOT up to par. The Mac and cheese has been hit or miss here since the beginning. Justdepends on who makes the batch you get. Was pretty much just really dry and under seasoned. Also got the shrimp. That was goodas well.
Place was clean and tidy, service was quite fast, I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich, the pulled pork NC style, Blueberry Cobbler (very good) and the baked beans (very tasty) The chicken was very good, my wife had the pulled pork, she commented that it was good, but was disappointed by the lack of pork that was actually in the sandwich, she said she was use to the meat falling out of the bread, but this time it was all in a beautiful small pile and that nothing came out of the sides of the bread. Taste was good, but the smaller amount was disappointing.
Can't complain, just bring the food on! I had half a chicken and well it didn't have a chance, I barely got a piece of it to a plate. My picky eater saw it, sampled and then I couldn't keep her away. I think I heard her humming over my humming. It was nice to appreciate it without having to slather it in sauce which we didn't pay any attention to until we had the sauces with something I cooked the next day (sorry we were preoccupied with the chicken so we pulled out the sauces after the chicken was gone).
Mission BBQ provides a simple yet enjoyable dining experience, similar to various BBQ establishments. The food is outstanding, especially the smoked turkey, which I really love. The sides are always tasty, and the prices are very affordable. While I'm not a local, I’ve spent a considerable amount of time working nearby, and it has become one of my favorite spots in the College Park/Greenbelt region. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

For a chain, shockingly great quality and tasting BBQ. As gluten free (celiac) it's hard to find restaurants in the area I feel safe eating at and luckily they not only have a full gluten free menu they have minimal gluten in general so it greatly limitsthe risk of cross contamination. All the BBQ sauces (except one) are gf. Dedicated frier so you can eat the French fries!! Thebrisket and pulled pork are my top meat choices, so good!
Big chain with small portions. The chicken BBQ is well seasoned and cooked well though (the other stuff isn?t particularly impressive, but it?s BBQ in the north, so you take what you can get) Some people probably like the hyper military vibe, but italways feels deeply performative to me. To be clear though, having been to a couple Mission BBQs, this particular franchise isat least as good as any other in the chain.
The food was tasty overall, but the beef brisket was quite dry even though I asked for it to be moist. The staff were exceptionally friendly, particularly a wonderful woman who welcomed everyone and made sure to clear our trays. I felt she deserved a special mention in my review!
The service here is always great! Today the women working at the register were super kind and welcoming! I don't know who is in charge at this location but these women deserve a raise 100%! I came in at 7:45pm on 02/04/2022 if that helps you figure out who I'm talking about!

Searched em up on Google Maps. We are from out of town. Meats were GREAT. Awesome smoky flavor. Sides were really good. And the Naner Pudding is off the chain!!! Military themed joint. Will go again if I get the chance!!
Mission BBQ never fails. This is the 4th different store we've been to and the food is always delicious. Excellent fresh cut French fries. Brisket sandwich and pork BBQ sandwich were tasty. Clean bathrooms.
