The staff at this newly opened restaurant were professional and attentive. The ambiance was pleasant—not too crowded or noisy, which I appreciated. However, the shrimp pad Thai was overly salty, making it inedible for me; I ended up picking out the shrimp and leaving the rest. The soup dumplings were perfect, while the boneless spare ribs were excellent. The calamari was just okay—not impressive at all. Additionally, Tipsy Taco's calamari is much better. The cocktail, a Manhattan, was outstanding and very enjoyable. Overall, I didn't feel it was worth spending $100 for two people.
Decided to try Mister Chen’s after having been to all the other Asian food spots on this street and was disappointed. Wonton soup was insanely salty dumplings were better than other places though. Beef and broccoli was mid beef sauce tasted more sour than other places and less rich/savory. The pan fried pork buns were pretty flavorless and not worth $9.95 for 4. The only redeeming item was the Chinese sausage fried rice. It was good and that would prob be the only item I come back for. The overall price for all four of these items was $54
They are so rude on the phone, I was asking how to get inside the restaurant to place an order, and she said that they are closed until 4 but available for pick up.How do you want me to come and place an order if you don’t want to help? They were yelling at me on the phone and I got hung up on.I was so excited to try out this place being a local, but I guess they don’t want any business.
The chicken wings were flavorless, and the dandan noodles were terrible—the pork pieces tasted boiled and the noodles themselves had no flavor and weren't spicy at all. The pork lo mein was dry and lacked taste. I would recommend skipping this place.

I was surprised to be charged a different price than what was listed on the menu. To make matters worse, I witnessed them microwave my dumplings. I was shocked that a restaurant would prepare food in such a way.
The food looked appealing, but the service was dismal. I had to sit and watch my partner eat while I waited for my meal, which never arrived.
Overcharged(double price on the menu) and then they microwaved the food? Why are wonton and chicken broth cold and being microwaved??
Excellent experience! I always enjoy placing orders from this restaurant. Their soup dumplings are simply the best!

Pork soup dumplings like in Shanghai. Very hot soup inside. Had sichuan beef. Both delicious. Prices competitive..
The food is always delicious whenever I order it. The rice is cooked to perfection.
