Mister Gills - Reserva de mesa

Mister Gill's is a fabulous addition to dining on Rokeby Road. We sat inside at the bar (2 of us) as it was a bit chilly, but I do look forward to sitting outside on a balmy evening. To begin we ordered white anchovies (a favourite of mine which didn't disappoint). The fish main was delightful (Whiting), but a small serving and only served with a wedge of lemon. The chips were extra, very hot and crunchy. We also had a green salad with avocado dressing which was good. Add 2 glasses of wine and we didn't get any change from $100! Quite expensive for a mid-week fish chips. I'm not sure I'd come here regularly as our local Fish Chips (takeaway) is pretty good and a third of the cost!

Fantastic spot! We decided to stop by here since Juanita's was busy outside. It's wonderful to have another option from the amazing owners of Juanita's. Thank you so much—we'll definitely be back many times!

Lunch for four was a great experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their meals. We were all very satisfied with both the service and the food.
