Came here purely because Ally McCoist goes on about it on TalkSport and my word what a recommendation! Mr Singh and one of his sons made a point of welcoming me, all the other staff were super friendly and efficient but the food! My god I was in Singapore years and years ago and a local driver took me to Little India for a curry from the south which was amazing, and ever since then I’ve always gone for the “Southern Indian” option when I’ve seen it, and I’ve always been slightly disappointed but not tonight. This place is absolute CLASS. The service is amazing and somehow the food even tops it. We got a framed photo complimentary. And even though I could eat that naan all night, we called it after a second order. The staff were happy and attentive. And I wish I could find a way to describe their food… it was just honestly amazing, I wish I had a second stomach. 10/10 would recommend to a tourist or local! Thank you so much.
Booked a table here prior to going to concert at OVO Hydro. Food was fabulous and staff were all lovely and friendly offering great service. We had a great evening, then waiting outside for a taxi a young member of staff (Mr Sings’s grandson) offered to take us to the Hydro. He was a lovely young man and just made a lovely evening better! Like the previous reviewer, we went after hearing Ally McCoist on the radio waxing lyrical about this place and its famous haggis pakora. Must say, thanks Ally! Fabulous place, the haggis pakora was delicious and so was everything else we had. Loved my chicken pathia. Service was excellent too and nice atmosphere, lots of happy campers munching away.
Food was excellent for the price and tasted absolutely AWESOME, The waiters were phenomenal and even asked if we wanted photo of us and the food (we did). Lovely atmosphere. ABSOLUTELY GREAT EXPERIENCE 5 stars.
Very welcoming and attentive staff especially our waitress sreya. Lovely authentic meal would highly recommend. Very accommodating with altering spice levels to suit taste. Can’t wait to come back!
First time we have been to Mr Singh's couldn't fault a thing. Food service is top class. The staff are all lovely really look after you. We will definitely be back.
