Three reasons why The Mitchell was a great spontaneous choice for lunch: 3) The food was excellent, especially the delicious Fish n Chips. 2) The atmosphere was fantastic. 1) Our server, Howard aka "Pepper Grinder", was incredibly funny, informed, and a blast to interact with. He truly made the experience unforgettable. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5 rating. The recommended dish is definitely the Fish and Chips. Pricing per person is between £20-£30 for lunch.
Cute shop, staff were nice (it was quiet) but the food wasn't great. Grilled cheese was greasy it was melted cheese on soft bread, as we're the fries. The vegetarian soup that was served with the sandwich was a broth, which isn't a pairing I would go for normally. It wasnt exactly cheap either. We went here for Xmas dinner. Table was booked for 4 yet the doors didn't open until 4-15. Not the best start. Things did improve as our waitress was super friendly, even though she read back our pre-order to us and it was completely wrong. here to breakfast. great menu and eating was top notch. eating came nice and warm on hot plates. especially the tee loved comfortably on the teapots. a beautiful note. deli counter had many interesting dinge on the display, with xmas coming some great fillers. by eating in forgan’s at this weekend we also had a 20% discount to use. recommend yourself for a great experience! Lovely place. Food , I would say was pub like but nice all the same. We had burger and chips that was excellent. Howard , our server, was a character, and a definitely an asset to the restaurant.
