I 'm confused about the rave reviews of this place. Yes, the fish is fresh but for the price there needs to be something more. They aren 't dressing the sushi with the correct vinegar and the rice is subpar. The sushi is not special; it won 't wow you or blow you away, it 's pretty basic in my opinion.. I 've paid a lot more for omakase in NYC and Japan and felt happy and satisfied with the meal, which I did not feel here. At Mitch 's there is 0 ambiance, non existent service and the food comes out so quickly. We spent $356 in 45 min. I 'm ok with all of the above if the food lived up to my expectations, but it didn 't. It was a boring omakase. Their price to profit ratio is way too high as...

This unpretentious little sushi spot near the airport is a true find. Parking is quite limited, with about seven spots available out front and a few more on the street. The restaurant is BYOB, so don’t forget to bring your favorite Japanese lagers! The sushi here is outstanding—some of the best I've had outside of Japan. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the hand rolls are exceptional. If you treat yourself to the fatty tuna, you won’t be disappointed; it’s absolutely amazing. The service is both fast and friendly, and they prepare excellent platters. Takeout orders are simple and convenient, and dining in is a delight as well, thanks to a spacious back room with plenty of seating and a few...

Great tasting fresh fish! Pricing could be a bit cheaper, but the quality is good. They seem to be a wholesaler of fish for the area, when we were leaving we saw a large shipment of fish arrive as well. Got the 10 piece sushi and chirashi, and both were great. Would recommend getting the miso soup with the shrimp head also!

Lowkey BOYB spot which happens to be my favorite sushi restaurant in all of Honolulu. Fresh fish with knowledgeable and experienced chefs and servers. We love the vibe and every time I bring people here they are blown away! Reserva una mesa ahora

Hands down the best sushi I have ever had. Simple, fresh, and delicious! Don’t be fooled by the appearance from the outside or the location. You won’t find better sushi. Service was also excellent

Beautiful Sushi! Best I've had since Japan. It is BYOB so be aware of that. They were incredibly nice to let us take our order to go so we wouldn't miss out plane.

Had that whole in the wall feel that turns out to be a diamond in the rough. Best place hands down for the best Sashimi!
