Miz Kathi's Cotillion Southern Cafe

Just the name makes you want to eat here. Located on a very busy highway parking was a bit of a challenge. I found a spot across the highway and played a human version of Frogger to get across the road . Once inside, the front room where we were seated, was dark and cozy. Our waitress was very good, The meal starts with some complimentary corn bread. Very tasty. I had the SUNSET SHRIMP GOOD 'OL BOY ... shrimp, hand breaded and fried to order, tossed in our key lime chili sauce on a soft hoagie with lettuce, pickle, tomato. For a side order my selection was baked beans. I am from the baked bean capital of the country and these were very good, as was the sandwich. Serving size was good. I was told that their desserts are amazing ... I passed on it this time, but maybe next time. There will be a next time.

Nice small intimate casual place. One of us had the pulled pork sandwich, one had the shrimp salad sandwich and one had the shrimp pore boy sandwich and all was good. The service was also good. May want to call to see if you need a reservation.

Quaint, cute place but recommend a reservation as small inside but worth it! Great lunch options, enjoyed my salad, will try something new each time....

Good food, family style. Fantastic desserts, try their humming bird cake, YUM. I 've eaten at Miz Kathy 's for years and would definitely recommend.

I don't know what kind of cuisine this is but taste is insipid. Very pricy in a place decorated by your Aunmt Tilly's left over quilts.
