Unfortunately, our first experience at this restaurant was not the best. The service was rather slow, despite the fact that the restaurant was only about half full. We felt that the quality of food did not match the price. We really wanted to enjoy this new trendy spot in downtown White Bear, but ultimately, we were left disappointed. I ordered two of the "regular" sushi rolls, which were quite small and didn’t taste freshly made—they reminded me of store-bought sushi. My husband chose a specialty roll, which was significantly tastier and larger, but it came with a hefty price tag of $22 for just 8 pieces. Overall, this place just wasn’t for us.
We dine here more than at any other restaurant in the area. The food is consistently outstanding, and the menu offers an impressive variety. The servers are exceptional, providing top-notch service. The location and atmosphere are unbeatable.
The quality and taste of the food was excellent. However, the servings are so small for the price you pay, that I can't justify going to this restaurant again. Sorry!
Excellent food, nice people. We sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed watching the food prep. Go during happy hour for some good deals!
