I had a great experience at this restaurant. I enjoyed a lovely day out with my friends when we stopped in for lunch. We were a party of three, but when the food came out, only one person received their order. We had to wait for thirty minutes before the rest of our food arrived. My panini was not in good shape and my friend's burger was overcooked. Our waitress did not check on us after serving the food, and we had to wait an additional thirty minutes for the table to be cleared. As we were leaving, we discussed how disappointed we were with the service and left a negative comment on the review. We've been coming here for years. Food is only okay but we like casual vibe. We decided to try the nachos which we never had before. They were really gross. Cold chicken and cheese sauce that reminded us of something you'd get at 7-11. We spent plenty of money, ordered another appetizer since nachos were inedible and also another round of drinks. Asked waitress to have nachos taken off bill and manager gave us $3 off because they said we ate 1/2. (We maybe ate 1/3 because we were really hungry). We're done with MJs Neptune.

As someone with a lifetime of experience in the food industry, I have immense respect for this small chain of restaurants. They offer creative cocktails, outstanding dishes, reasonable prices, and remarkable consistency. The service is professional, though sometimes overly attentive. The only slight issue I have noticed is that the live entertainment can be subpar at times.

The new normal is poor and slow service. Restaurants are understaffed. The result is getting your apps with your entrees and waiting forever for drink refills.

I ordered the deluxe pizza, hot and spicy prawns that were cooked well, and chicken wings that were very dry. The only good thing was the beer.
