One of the worst Shabu Shabu places I have gone to. Food is mediocre, and customer service is the worst I have ever seen. It is always shortstaffed here, so you are automatically signed up for waiting. Making reservations ahead of time may lessen the waiting time to be seated, but either way, if you need something from the server, you may need to hunt them down. Like I mentioned earlier, food is just OK. Typical Shabu Shabu restaurants with limited condiments and veggie options, but I think there are enough choices for everyone. Have always loved eating at momo paradise! Been at least 5x now in the last 6 months. Meat quality is very good. We always start off with 2x/each meat! Vegetable bar is limited but always fresh and the types of vegetables we (personally) enjoy. We also love the drink bar and sauces. Ambience is always louder but nothing of a problem. Unfortunately this was the first time workers kicked us out for reaching 90 minute dining time. My reservation was for 7pm and we were seated 5 mins after checking in. It was 8:20pm when staff told us it was our last chance to have ice cream and then handed us with the check shortly after. Very disappointed today. We made a reservation for 4 people for 5:30pm Sunday dinner. Early enough you would think? We were placed at a table with only 1 stove. When i expressed that we needed 2 stoves between us- we were told that it was reserved for larger parties on busy nights. So, why make a reservation when you can't get a proper table? I'm not about sharing saliva with others. Family or not. They should respect their customers preference. When I asked to speak with a manager, the original host stuck a trainee on me. Warning! this place charges an automatic 18% service charge. I don't have a problem paying tips but this 18% charge is ridiculous. On top of the service charge, the receipt also asked for tips. The servers just dont give a f about providing good service bc the owner is pocketing the service charge and no one is paying them tips. This practice is bad for both the workers and customers. Service is just not there. The quality of the meat is going downhill too. There are many ACYE hotpot out there. Try something else.

We absolutely love this place. We came once a week and come again for special occasions like birthdays. Trinity is really sweet and always takes great care of us. The broths are tasty, the buffet area for veggies are fresh and always filled, and the meats are fresh. We love the fish tofu and fish balls. We have tried many shabu places and this is the place we always come back to. Definitely make a reservation, they are always busy.

Food was fine. Service was trying their best with the amount of patreons there were. I have nothing to complain about until I saw the check. Please tell me why the service charge (18% is taxed? Service charge should not be taxed!!! Will not becoming back.

This place is not clean. At the buffet bar, there's always something on the plates... I had to change multiple plates to find a clean one. Meat is pretty good and tender! Their sauce Ponzu is very sour which is different from other places.

Momo automatically charges 18% gratuity to bill but why is it being tacked on to bill first BEFORE children's 50% discount is applied. That's not right and we, the customers, shouldn't be charged for that.

Horrible restaurant service from front house! I don't recommend this location if you prefer to experience basic hospitality. The receptionist was rude!

Quality meat and great and friendly service. Love the food here, one of my fav shabu places in SGV.
