We have been going to Momento for a few years now, going back to when it was mostly a pizzeria. The food was always amazing. We travel an hour each way for their food. This time we brought some good friends with us to try it. Were we dissapointed. The menu seems to change weekly and so does the quality of the food. Nothing had the same flavors we were used to and the portions were noticeably smaller. The prices in my opinion are way too high for this area, it's not Manhattan so I don't expect to pay Manhattan prices. They're losing their every day customers and We're probably not going back.
What a great find! We were visiting the area and were looking for a good restaurant with both selection and quality....we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and expertly prepared. The wine selection was excellent, and the homemade focacci was outstanding. The service was a little overwhelmed with a large group, but everyone was pleasant and trying their best. We are not from this area and were looking for a nice place to have dinner as a family. We were so impressed by everything we ordered--and we ordered a lot! It was so difficult to choose because everything looked amazing! The service was spectacularly attentive and kind. I'm so sad that we don't live near enough to frequent this amazing little establishment! It rivals michelin star restaurants I have enjoyed! Someone alert the Michelin guide! I have been a loyal customer at this restaurant for years, but I must say that I have noticed a decline in quality lately. The prices have gone up while the portion sizes have gotten smaller. The food just doesn't taste as good as it used to. It seems like the owners lack interest in keeping things fresh. One of my friends requested a chicken francaise with oil and garlic on the pasta instead of the francaise sauce, but we were told that it couldn't be done. He has ordered this at other Italian restaurants without any issues.

Our dining experience started with a great server Karen and was followed by an awesome meal. We ordered 3 specials all were delicious. Drinks have always been smaller than average at Momento but good. I did miss the hot rolls with the olive oil ricotta cheese, they served olive oil focaccia instead. Highly recommend this restaurant. Have been here several times always consistently great food.
Creative and delicious menu. From start to finish I was impressed with every dish. The star of the show was the gnocchi special with short rib and truffle. Service (thanks to Lorraine) was also spot on. Highly recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The food was EXCELLENT, we were just in Italy, and the meal brought us back to Venice and Rome! Dominque our waitress was Excellent, efficient, friendly, kind and very considerate to our needs. We can’t wait to go back

This restaurant is incredible. It is definitely the top spot in the Poconos without a doubt. I am already looking forward to returning!
