I absolutely love this place and always make a point to stop here whenever I'm in Newport or any other location that has a Momiji (like Salem. The all-you-can-eat sushi is phenomenal! You can order practically any sushi roll off the menu, including their premium rolls, as well as appetizers! All the rolls are fantastic, but I will be honest and say this place probably has the best tempura shrimp I've ever had! The breading was so light and crispy, not at all greasy, and the shrimp inside was perfectly cooked without being rubbery. The sushi was decent, but I think they may have forgotten some sauces because the rolls ended up being a bit dry and lacking flavor. The edamame was also quite bland—why can't people add a little more seasoning to it? A dash of chili sauce or something similar would make a huge difference! My wife makes hers that way, and it's fantastic! This is the only sushi spot in Newport we found that's open on Tuesdays, so we do appreciate that. Maybe next time, we'll aim for sushi on a Wednesday instead.
I waited an hour and a half just to have sushi and sashimi. There weren't even that many customers, yet the service was extremely slow. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this place.
We absolutely love Momiji! We always make it a point to visit whenever we're in town. We're consistently pleased with both the food and the service.

Lunch special with 2 rolls, miso soup and cucumber salad was delicious and a great value! Glad I found this local place on our travels up the coast
Really good sushi, traditional Japanese. My favorites are the Spicy Octopus Roll Honey Bee Roll. They also have Bento boxes vegetarian options.
Huge selection including a ton of vegetarian options. Much better than the Albany location.
