Momiji Japanese Cuisine

I discovered this restaurant about six months ago and have been several times for take-out. Optimistic due to the Japanese owners, at first it seemed to have become my go-to after work north shore sushi spot. Then I got food poisoning one day after having Mackerel. The next time I carefully surveilled the preparation as the sushi chef cooked fish that wasn't supposed to be anything but served raw. Once home, I carefully smelled the 2x$3.50 pieces of fish and noticed the cooking failed to mask the faint odour of rotting fish. The fish went straight to the garbage, I've never been back since and wouldn't recommend it.

Good sushi, nice selection menu and creative special options. Either eating in ou take out it has always been a great experience and good food. There are some bad reviews here but like always there are people that find things to complain about or had a single bad experience. Been going there since they opened and don't have a single bad thing to say.

One of my favourit sushi restaurants on the North Shore. Exceptional quality and great value for money. I absolutely adore the location! As someone who is trying to develop a fondness for sushi, this restaurant truly entices me to return. The taste and presentation of the dishes were superb, leaving me wanting more.
