First time trying this place, I?ve seen good reviews so I thought ?why not!?? Going back I see reviews on only the soul food ....so to start I waited 45min for my food I could?ve just cooked myself at this point ...second I ordered jerk chicken and brown stew chicken ...I?ve never in my life had Caribbean food so bland I mean NO sauce at all, jerk chicken had NO spice or flavor, it tasted like baked chicken and I even asked for EXTRA sauce. The rice and peas was good ...the portion of banana pudding is definitely not worth $3.99. This is terrible

Pleasantly suprised. I phone ordered two meals, Jerk chicken Ox tails for pick up-from Mama G’s. My first time ordering, the employee on the phone was very patient with me. This establishment has two restaurants operating out of the same space-Mama G’s Akhibachi’s. The portions were reasonable, the food was well seasoned, the prices decent, the atmosphere (needs improvement) but not a deal breaker-for me. I will recommend this location to friends and family.

Truth be told.... I was very skeptical of how the food was going to be. We waited about 30mins due to door dash and the Catering orders..... We wanted to order Oxtails but they ran out. We ordered Brown Stew and Fried Chicken instead and WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. Their portion size was definitely enough for 2 people a platter? and again Food was very Good. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu ?

It is about 30 to 1 hour down and back from my residence, but you can bet her is no better meal then you will be cooked every fine to perfection . You will be the meal and the ride, what is time it is well worth it, there are going a favor and check it out. One thing you need to wait a minute, but it's worth it. Quill

Everything was very good! Especially those Honey Bourbon wings. I appreciate a good crunchy wing with some flavor?.. Thank you for Making my night? They cooked everything in the photo except the steak? I cooked the steak but look At everything else on that plate? YumYum ? Greens, Wings, potato salad. Great Job!

I stopped by to get food on my way to Ohio and ohhhh boyyy it was worth the wait! The food was so good? I had 8 hours to drive, but after eating I could of gone to sleep? I will be going back when I visit I go back to Delaware soon!!!

Today I ordered fried fish with sweet spicy sauce, collard greens and sweet potatoes. Let me just say it was DELICIOUS!! Thank You Mama G for providing great customer service and food!!

So far she's consistent with the menu of food, hot and tasty, so far I haven't had anything that's been reheated 4,5,6 times.

Loved their smothered chicken, fried whiting, collard greens, and rice/peas. Food was delish!
