Not for the faint hearted but so worth the trip up by car. We travelled up the mountain on a windy day (not such a good idea), the road, although fairly wide, was steep and winding, with lots of cyclists struggling up against the wind. I suffer from vertigo and, for me, the experience going up was one of sheer panic, cursing my husband for wanting to go this mountain, he is a very good driver and remained calm throughout. When we finally reached the top and parked (more cursing from me!) we were greeted by the most amazing view and the drive up seemed really worth it then! We had a lovely lunch and descended quite easily. Well done to all the cyclists who make it up this notorious mountain!...
