Monte Generoso - Reservar una mesa

The new RESTAURANT is beautiful, but the view at the Selfservice restaurant is limited, which is another proof that even Star-Architects often do not construct a beautiful building with good usability. The top restaurant has a very nice view, but was closed for a private event. The Selfservice Restaurant opens only at 11:30. The roof terrace was closed without a reason! ... there is room for improvement!

Camminata e vista stupenda ma la ferrovia é chiusa fino a 2017. Beautiful walk and breathtaking view, but the train and all the infrastructure are closed for renovation until 2017! The walk down to Mendrisio or Maroggia is almost 3 hours.

The new restaurant building designed by Mario Botta is very nice, the food is very good in the self-service restaurant, with a large salad bar, pasta option and various meat options including beef fillet.

The views are exceptional, as are the prices of the train. You pay more than €50 for a return ticket for an adult. You can also walk up the mountain.

very beautiful. a complete walk (4 hours from mendrisio) is recommended to enjoy the arrival in the restaurant 100%.
