Montmartre is our favorite restaurant in DC. We love the atmosphere and the food, and with half-price on bottles of wine, Sunday is a great time to go. We've eaten there dozens of times, with friends and out of town guests. We've never had a bad meal or even a bad course. The menu isn't extensive, but what is there is done perfectly. Book a table and be guaranteed a wonderful evening.
Dinner at Montmartre was fabulous....both the food and the service. And the wine recommendation complemented everyone's meals perfectly....not always possible when there are different entrees. We'll come back as soon as we can!
The neighborhood did not seem enticing. But once in the restaurant, all improved immediately. The menu, and the fare were very français. And the service was superb.

This used to be my favorite restaurant in the world, but unfortunately it closed during the pandemic. I miss Montmartre!
