Morano’s consistently offers delicious sandwiches and good salads, along with a well-stocked deli counter. However, it's tough to stomach spending $47 on just two sandwiches and a bag of chips (especially when I've previously paid around $10 for a 6.8 oz bag of Terra chips). I call everything that isn't the sandwiches I came for "land mines," as grabbing a few impulse items can really inflate your total bill.
Good food but lousy service? placed an order on line? was told it would take 20 minutes.. ok ?. So I go there at the allotted time and rude person behind the counter he?s the only one working even though I see several others) and that my order isn?tready and that I would have to wait like every one else? what was the point of placing the order early? I walked out?
Wonderful selection and great daily specials. You can even text your order in for pickup! If you've got a little free time, walk around the store and check out their amazing selection and attention to detail. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great place to grab a quick llunch or even stop in to pick up one of their prepared meals for dinner!

Best sandwiches around, for taste by FAR. However, prices have gone completely through the roof lately, and they could be more attentive to their online orders. The attitudes of the workers could be a bit better as wellUpdate 12/22: Speed and attitudes have improved, so adding an extra star.
The food is fresh, and the chicken sandwich was absolutely fantastic. The pasta salad, arugula salad, and sweet potato salad were all exceptional as well.
This is the best Italian deli in New Jersey! The vegetarian meatballs are incredible, and all the salads are fantastic. The desserts are also delightful!

"I was surprised to see all my Chicken Fried Rice was not taken out of a precooked bin. The wok was fired up and ingredients placed in. A fresh cook! Of course some ingredients must be prepped ahead. But the frying was done fresh and tasted great."
