Purchased a whole BBQ chicken and handed over payment. I was then was given a whole BBQ chicken with no wings by the old woman who was serving me. I asked for another complete BBQ chicken complete with its wings still attached. The old woman then proceeded to put a fried wing in the bag to make me happy. Very poor level of customer service. An $8 dollar supermarket BBQ chicken is better value and you get a chicken complete with two wings! Save the frustration of having to deal with this business. There are many alternative much better BBQ chicken options in Mortdale and surrounds.
Everyone in Mortdale knows this shop. Especially on weekends it is full of locals buying their barbecued chickens.. The chips are great, with chicken salt of course, and the servings are probably too generous. There is also a wide selection of salads to make you feel better about the chips. Service is friendly and efficient.
The B-B-Q Chickens are my favourite, very tasty and fresh. The shop is close to Mortdale Station, also the local Bus Stop and Taxi Rank, so it's an ideal spot to pick up a Chicken for dinner on the way home from work.We also get one to take on picnics to our wonderful Oatley Park.
Best chicken and chips going around. Will only ever get my BBQ here and always good to get a cheaper cold one for meals the next day. The owners always throw in a few extra chips for the kids when we grab a little something on the run

This place is probably the busiest among Mortdale eats due to affordable and variety in foods. Few people not all, working here could be hospitable. They're busy but that's not an excuse for service. It seems they don't care.
The chilkens are always fresh juicy and delicious and there variety of salads is enormous The hours are 8 to 8 staff always friendly and helpful They cater for functions and family occasions Truely recommended
Best roast chicken take away in Mortdale. great selection of salads and deserts. wneh thinking of a quick dinner , you cannot go wrong with a roast chicken, roast potatoes, a fresh salad.
Chickens are always moist and plump and taste great. By far the best BBQ chicken shop in the local area. Big turnover so chickens are always fresh and staff are friendly.

If you are after chicken & salad, then Mortdale Wishbone it is. A good variety of salads. The chicken is over cooked sometimes & dry. Good chicken wraps.
