"If you're going just for the food, it may leave a little to be desired. But between the expansive play spaces, huge selection of board games, TCG cards, and TTRPG books/minis/supplies, if you're there to gather materials and eat and drink while you play, you'll leave content."

I love mox undisturbed and have many friends, family and well known about a dozen or so visit, sampling most of the old vegan menu and many of the new. eating, drinks, atmosphere and personal are generally excellent. here is a good, diverse amount. I think that the fact that they are through a game store and most mozens are actiw games could throw some people so to be clear: they don't have to play a game (although they like to give them one.) nobody will watch them funny if they only eat here and alcohol and good company. the vegan dishes are fully integrated into a well-maintained cooked menu, instead of being a afterthought, and land in the regular near the (moderately high) brand. ingred...

mox boarding house is a brand new room and beautiful made in an elegant style of 1920. it is unusual that it is connected to a large gaming store. but eating speaks for itself as it is very good, and they also have a full cash. they have full vegan options like a quinoa burger, a Caribbean chalk bowl, a baharat tofu sandwich (if they are the feta,) hummus platter, and brussel sprouts as an appetizer. they also have vegetarian options such as the torfu sandwich, grilled cheese sandwich, cheddar-Mac and cheese, fennel salad, a roasted flower-flower appetizer and desserts like chocolate pudding and ricotta cheesecake. as for their bar, excellent cocktails and a lot of beer on draft. love it her...

Was rudely asked about my disability when I had my dog with me while shopping. For the last two years I 've brought my dog while shopping, had employees ask to pet her. She in fact is a service dog but the way I was approached about my disability and proving she was a service dog had me leave. There 's other LGS around that aren 't ableist and don 't rudely ask people questions in that manner. I 've spent thousands of dollars here, intended to spend hundreds yesterday but I never will give this company a scent of my money going forward.

This is an amazing board game shop/restaurant/bar. The interior design is so cool and atmospheric with the bathrooms feeling like they are straight out of Hogwarts. The staff is super nice and friendly, and the entire experience of shopping for games, playing games, and hanging/eating/drinking was just superb. Highly recommend if you ever find yourself in Portland and want to play some games!
