Mr. Baguette - Reserva de mesa

Mr Baguette is a French Vietnamese bakery that offer sandwiches and pastries. They have three branch locations (Monterey Park, El Monte and Rosemead). Interior atmosphere has a cool french vibe and its clean, organized and well lit. I asked a staff at the counter, Bonjour! Je voudrais commander le sandwich croissant à la dinde. Parlez vous francais? Staff gave a perfunctory sheepish smile. Anyway, they have a good combination of tasty gourmet deli meats with flavor and authentic warm fresh baked bread. I ordered a Turkey croissant sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. Turkey breast was prodigious and placed in a warm, soft large sized sweet glazed croissant sandwich. (See photos). Tasty...

5/5 service 3/5 for the food this review is based solely on the rating of what I thought of the food. Went here with a coworker and it was okay! I am happy I gave it a try, but it was too salty and meaty for my liking. I am vegetarian and am happy they had several vegetarian options! I appreciate the inexpensive price. My coworker really likes this place though, and she got their special #1. Overall, if I was in the area again, I would still order again because of its price. I think if you're a meat eater, though, you'd really enjoy this place. I say give this place a try to see what you think of it yourself!

It seems that Mr. Baguette has undergone a change in management because the quality of their sandwiches has drastically declined compared to six years ago. The bread is consistently stale, and while egg bahn mis from other places are usually enjoyable, this place has fallen short. They’ve removed the radishes, carrots, and other vegetables that typically enhance the flavor. The prices are quite high for what you get—$7 to $8 for just bread with eggs and peppers, with no other ingredients included. I would recommend going to Run Mi My Tho or Ba Le instead, where you can get a much better sandwich for only $4.

I have the grilled pork and lemongrass beef with sandwiches. They were both so good!!! Both had meat that was really well marinated and perfectly constructed in the Banh mi. The butter and mayonnaise with the meat (bef pork) were delicious. I couldn't get enough of it. Even if I haven't eaten here for a few years, the taste is still the same and it didn't disappoint at all! I eat slowly to enjoy the taste, and I wish I had bought more than I was done. We had grilled pork and lemongrass beef Banh Mi sandwiches, chicken curry, and a large croissant with iced coffee. Our family really enjoyed the sandwiches; the baguettes were crispy, fresh, and perfectly soft. The chicken curry was excellent—very flavorful and bursting with taste! On our next visit, we plan to try more sandwiches. The iced coffee was strong and tasty, but it had a bit too much ice cream for my liking. Overall, this is a great spot for Banh Mi sandwiches!

This place is great. We stopped here before our morning hike. It is open since 6am in the morning! We got the iced milk coffee and a baguette. It was a bit busy even though it was 6:30am, three people in line before of us. Most people do take-out. It?s not so popular to dine in. Coffee was super tasty and charged. The baguette was crunchy and soft. They have accessibility accommodations. But the straws and some of the cups are not recyclable. I recommend it!

It?s been several years since my last visit but the sandwiches felt like they were slapped together and not made and served with the love and care the staff used to put into serving their customers. The prices have gone up over 20% in the past two years. For the price and what you get, apologetically, I recommend going elsewhere. The ingredients in our sandwiches were awfully skimped on. This used to be my favourite Vietnamese sandwich shop in the SGV. ?

The bread is excellent! Its texture and flavor are just right. The only downside is that you only receive a single slice of ham. I ordered the ham and eggs drink combo for $10. The sandwich is long, but the filling is sparse. However, it tastes great! Reserva una mesa ahora

I drove from North Hollywood, just for it. The best here. Nothing will ever stop her!
