Mr Chips - Reserva de mesa

Definately the best fish/chip (and a few other foods) in Dunstable. Tried a couple of others once each but swiftly returned to Mr Chips. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Always lovely fish and chips! Over time we have been many times (absolute minimum 20+ timed)and only once was the fish batter slightly over fried. Nice guys in there! Always friendly and polite. Friday /Sat night gets very busy (as so popular) so there can be a bit of a wait...but worth it.

The chips were really soggy and not nice at all. We like our chips slightly crunchy. It was also strange to see so much pre prepared, for a fish and chip shop. It’s usually made as you order it. The cod was delicious though. They don’t do grilled fish at all, which was disappointing, as one of us is gluten free. They did make fresh chips, when we requested it, but we won’t go back. Fish and chips are usually much better than this.

Arguably the best chips shop. Fantastic traditional chip shop chips and the fish is very good too, very nice batter on it. Tried the kebab once which was decent and very generous portions. Only criticism is its cash only. Its 2023 so i think we can probably guess what is probably going on here which lets itself down

cannot believe that in this day and age, businesses like this are still cash only... stop trying to hide money from the HMRC and start serving your customers...stop being cheap and get a card machine...you will actually find you will get more customers...as for the food ..average Reserva una mesa ahora

This is bar far the best fish and chips in Dunstable, portions are anormous and the guys that work there are really friendly and courteous. But please can you start doing a delivery service, can’t always go there and would rather order from here than pizza or chicken.

Absolutely. 6pm on a Tuesday evening, no queue, cod at the ready, and loads of lovely 'proper ' chips. It was delicious, the portions were very generous and the fish was more fish than batter. Staff were very welcoming and polite. Highly recommended!

Chips always cooked perfectly, definitely my partners and I’s go to chip shop! We’ve been to a few chip shops around Luton and found that the chips were either over cooked or soggy, mr chips is nothing like that.

Brilliantly cooked and good size fish, never disappointed! The only feedback is that the shop really needs to start accepting cards

Mr chips dealt with a very large order for our function. Ali was brilliant, fish and chips were brilliant. Great service
