Without a doubt, this is the best home-cooked meal in town. My wife enjoyed the chicken fried chicken accompanied by fresh vegetables, while I had the hamburger steak with a side of vegetables. Our child opted for a hamburger with cheese fries. We also shared some boiled shrimp, which was delicious. The vegetables were fresh, not from a can. I can't praise the food enough—it was fantastic! My family and I are definitely looking forward to trying everything else on the menu.
I am from Natchitoches LA. I visit Mr. Peabody just today. I love good coustomer service. I tell you the workers were so amazing. What stood out to me the most, all employees had the same beat. You don’t get that at a lot of restaurants. When it was time for my dessert, the young lady brought it out and told me it was made with love. My My!!! Yes it was. Thank you for the great coustomer service.
The staff here was incredibly friendly! They even offered us something to try since it was our first visit. They were very attentive to our needs, often before we even had to ask. The food has a comforting, home-cooked feel to it. If you enjoy crawfish and hearty, homemade meals, I highly recommend visiting!
This restaurant was exceptionally clean, and the staff were wonderful! The food was excellent—served hot and fresh! We ordered the house special, which featured meatloaf, potatoes, green beans, and a roll. Everything was cooked to perfection! This location is also very easy to find, right on Thomas Road. I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The customer service was exceptional, and the food was delicious. The cream corn was absolutely amazing, and the banana pudding was just perfect. I dined in for lunch, and the price was around $10–20 per person. Highly recommend!
The best family restaurant in town! We dined in for dinner and everything was fantastic. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was delightful. Overall, a perfect experience – 5 stars for each aspect!

They serve the best crawfish in town! Make sure to try their chili cheese burger as well—it's absolutely delicious!
