We had a lovely lunch here this week. We were warmly welcomed and received attentive service throughout. My husband and I had three courses. My starter was a really tasty roast fig with goats cheese, wrapped in prosciutto. As a main, my husband and I shared a whole Dover sole, which was fresh and delicious, together with chips and a bowl of veg as an extra. We’re happy that we went for the sweet, which was a great homemade Italian cherry and almond tart. We’ll definitely return!
An excellent family restaurant. Welcoming from the moment we arrived. Beach-side atmosphere even in winter, yet cosy. Excellent cod and chips, cod with a herby crust and baked hake: fresh fish, decent portions, offset by simple yet tastey sauces and sides. Once course lunch without alcohol was a shade over £20 each. Definitely recommendable.
The service at this restaurant was attentive but not overwhelming, and the food was incredibly tasty. It primarily focuses on seafood dishes, with a great selection available. There are also non-seafood options on the menu. The standout dish was the handpicked laverbread starter, which was especially delicious.
Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was delicious, had to ask for an extra potion of chips for the three of us, but that didn’t detracted from the meal. Food was very fresh and the fish was light and really enjoyable. Will definitely be returning next time we are here. Reserva una mesa ahora
We had an early Christmas dinner with our parents and it was absolutely superb! The food was outstanding arguably the very best fish restaurant in Cardiff and the staff were so lovely, we had such a lovely evening! Thank you so much!
Fish and the chips tasted good but portion small and no way was it worth nearly £20. We felt a bit cheated. Eat in prices are way to expensive, need to look at reducing for what should be an affordable meal out.
The takeout fish and chips were delicious, but the owner was rude! We were told not to eat at the table outside after finishing our meal. Why didn't they inform us earlier? We had spent enough money there.
I love environment around the opposite and the waiter and waiter are very nice. eating there is a little expensive, but reasonable as eating is very delicious, especially the seafood plate. Reserva una mesa ahora
Great local restaurant with super food. Our waitress was really chatty and helpful. All dishes were cooked well and were just the right portion size. Would definitely go again.

"Popped in at 2.15 pm on a quiet Friday- asked very unfriendly landlady if we could play darts- she refused saying it is only for darts team to use and that tables were booked. Only table used was no where near the dart board."
