Müller's - Reservar una mesa

There were times, the food was good. But this was long time ago. I try to avoid this place nowadays. During the last 30 years we had several family reunions here but it got worse from year to year. The interior is kind of Baroque and notreally maintained since the last 30 years. Time stood still for the furniture and the painted walls. When talking about the food. The Zwiebelrostbraten (Roast with Onions) was good still 10 years ago. Then they put convencience food roasted onions as topping on it. Before it was home made stuff. The meat nowadays is also really chewy. Last time, I thought I´d try a roasted Pork Shoulder a frankonian specialty with potato dumpling big mistake. The sauce was definitely done with ready made sauce powder or some other convenience stuff. Not spiced. The dish was coming without any theme . Also the german braised beef, one of us had same issue with the sauce. Beef quality was mediocre. Be prepared, that you are smelling like old fryer fat when you are leaving the facility. Would I come here again. Naaaaaah.

I had supper with my German partner and her friends at this restaurant. The cuisine, as usual in southern Germany, is ‘deftig’: very rich, a bit on the fatty side and consisting of large portions. I had the pork loins with all the trimmings, others had the duck. One member of the party was a vegetarian, and they managed to cater for her as well, even though the menu did not explicitly mention vegetarian meals. I had a Landbier or two, which is a local brown ale and not bad at all. The décor is in the traditional Franconian/Bavarian style, with wooden benches and carpets and the like. We could tell that the staff were a bit knackered because of the festive season; I am not blaming them if they were somewhat curt. All in all, this place is quite all-right.

They had a nice outdoor courtyard, however some patrons were smoking. When our meals arrived they were sooooo huge, we could have shared with 2 or 3 of us. They have traditional German food, which was good and overfilling.

The decor really needs an update, both inside and in the outside dining areas, but the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was reasonable and also reasonably priced. I thought it was Muller's not Muellers.

Really nice menu, and friendly and helpful service. The amount of food is very generous The interior has a historical charm with many traditional Bavarian ornaments generously adorned.
