Mulberry At Oatlands Park

eating was good when a little expensive. we had a afternoon and 2 adults. they were the same, although the cost half for a child portion they ask how they can justify the price of an adult meal. as for the venue. it is obviously beautiful, unfortunately the 18-30s club party in the room next door ruined it at 2:30 on a Friday afternoon, along with sharing the toilets, where my 4 years old sohn became every word under the sohn including the most extreme of swearing words, and the loud music, it ruined for us, what as "the perfect family ostern tasty"

we were here before the afternoon tee, but this visit was disappointing. the personal was friendly but not particularly attentive (the table behind us also complained in the lack of service, so it wasn't just us.) eating itself was ok. scones were nice and warm. Unfortunately, the sandwiches had hardly any filling. also I can't understand why we paid 30 per adult and 15 per child if the child is the same as the adult, but with a less sandwich. have we really only paid 15 for an additional finger sandwich? shocking.

Overall it was nice however a couple of things, we were surprised that no one had noticed that a music track was on a constant loop for around 30 minutes until we pointed it out. We like Michael Buble' and we now know all the words to you give me fever but ..............! We did feel that a couple more sandwiches might have been nice and maybe the choice to have the tea in the bar area where the atmosphere might have been better being there was just one other couple in that vast room.

We were sat against the wall so no scenery. The skirting board where I sat was dirty. The service was disappointing no one even checked to ask how we were doing and we had to call the waiter 5 times before ordering a drink which then took so long I was about to give up and cancel. The selection of sandwiches were not 5 start nor were the cakes. This was not value for money and certainly did not meet 5 star as advertised. I would not recommend this’. Reserva una mesa ahora

Lovely airy restaurant and friendly staff. The afternoon tea was delicious and the setting of the hotel being in such a large estate is perfect for escaping from the traffic and noise. It feels like you have taken a trip out to the countryside.

we arrived on time, but unfortunately the lunch service was more business than normal, so we did not really start the afternoon until about 14.30. After leaving the staff, we were very accommodating and it was all very nice and relaxing.

It was My fathers 90th birthday so as a family we decided to have a Sunday carvery. We certainly were not disappointed at all, the services was perfect, there was not rush between courses and all the food was fantastic.

Great quality food and plenty of it. Nice choice of teas and alternatives for those who don’t drink it. Kids catered for too. Really enjoyable experience

Excellent selection of starters. Entertaining some friends who enjoyed the experience for the first time.
